Outlook 2003 – Tek bir mailbox'da Advanced Find yapılamıyor.

When the Outlook 2003 user tries to search/advanced search using Advanced find option on “one” Mailbox they get following error message :
There are too many Find Public folders dialogs open. You must close them in order to use the advanced find. Do you want to close them now? Yes/ No
If we select Yes, we get another error message :Outlook cannot perform your search. Outlook cannot display this view. A folder by this name already exists

Found following article, To resolve this problem we should run “outlook /cleanfinders” switch but users can not run the “outlook /cleanfinders” command because the Run option has been disabled by Group Policy. So we tried to use MFCMapi tool.

install the MFCMAPI tool on this client machine, this tool could be downloaded from
http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=30193
a.Start MFCMAPI.exe, and then click Session –> Logon and Display Store Table.
b. Choose the Outlook profile for this particular mailbox, and then you could see all mailbox store being listed.
c. Double click this mailbox store, and then expand the Root Container in the new window.
d. Get the Finder –> Search Folder, as shown above.
e. Double click the “Search Folder”, and then you will see a new window
f. Delete all items in the search folder, and then close the MFCMAPI.
g. Restart Outlook, and check if the issue still exists.
